ABOUT AICLA (AUSTRALIAN IMMIGRATION & CITIZENSHIP LAW ADVISERS)

Perth skylineThe specialist immigration/citizenship consultancy firm known as Australian Immigration & Citizenship Law Advisers (AICLA) has its origins back in 1994. It has evolved to become one of the most progressive Australian immigration and citizenship advisory firms based in Australia today. It has offices in Sydney and Perth. Its development continues.

AICLA is owned by a corporation. Its team of highly skilled experts includes specialist Australian immigration lawyers and senior Australian immigration consultants (registered migration agents) who aspire to high technical competency and ethical practice.

   MAIN TEAM MEMBERS

Christopher Narayanan

Chris - Chief immigration lawyerChris is the manager of AICLA and a founding member of the Immigration Lawyers Association of Australasia. He is also the principal lawyer at CGN Legal, an Australian law firm which acts as Legal Immigration Consultant to AICLA. Chris is not a migration agent. He is an Australian-trained lawyer (Barrister/Solicitor/Attorney-at-Law) who is enrolled in the High Court of Australia (which is the highest Australian court) and who is dedicated to the study of Australian Immigration & Australian Citizenship Law matters. Since 1994, he has been advising on Australian immigration/citizenship matters. He has the knowledge and experience to deal with 'A to Z' (all kinds of) cases involving Australian immigration/citizenship law, including extremely complicated cases. He actively support's the company's philosophy which is: "If It Can Be Done, Aicla Can Do It".

Immigration Lawyers Association of AustralasiaAs the principal immigration/citizenship legal consultant to AICLA, he advises AICLA on all immigration matters although "immigration assistance" as defined in law is provided by those within the AICLA team who are migration agents. In this context, he regularly and systematically provides legal advice to the firm's migration agents on all complicated legal aspects of all our clients’ cases. He also briefs barristers in immigration/citizenship cases that are brought before the superior courts.

He has had extensive experience as a consultant immigration lawyer representing clients in Australia and overseas in Australian immigration/citizenship cases before tribunals and courts. His paramount responsibility as manager of AICLA is to directly provide legal advice, help and assistance to the firm’s team of migration agents so as to ensure that they adhere to the highest possible standards of technical and legal competency, ethics and professionalism. It is our management’s belief that it is this methodology that explains the extremely high rate of success to date for all the firm’s immigration cases, including those that are extremely complicated, since 1995.

He has also acted as Specialist Legal Immigration Consultant to other Australian immigration firms and businesses in both Australia and overseas.

For many years, he has been giving some of his time freely in voluntary work in the capacity as a 'pro bono' Australian immigration lawyer for one or more community-based organizations in Australia.
