Steve is a seasoned business professional who has worked at senior executive levels in multinational companies which include, Unilever, American Express and Aeon Group. He has worked in New Zealand, Malaysia and several other Asia Pacific Countries namely The Philippines, Fiji, and Hong Kong.

He has spent much of his career in Product Management, Marketing and Corporate Affairs. He was instrumental in the formation and success of a number of start-up companies including MBf Card Services, which subsequently attained regional accolades. The Company grew to be one of the largest issuers of MasterCard credit cards in the ASEAN Region.

He has also played a key role in achieving ISO status for several companies in Malaysia, as well as a Stock Exchange listing of AEON Credit in Malaysia.

In the Human Resource arena, Steve was Managing Director at DBM Malaysia, a Human Resource Management company and the local chapter of Coxswain Alliance, a process re-engineering consultancy, covering the Asia Pacific region.

Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (majoring in Economics) from Auckland University, New Zealand. After Graduation Steve started his career in Management at a leading New Zealand conglomerate, Fletcher Holdings, the second largest company in New Zealand at the time. He served in the Corporate Planning Department which focused on profit optimisation of the company’s various Divisions as well as determining the viability and synergy of acquiring smaller local companies. Steve subsequently returned to Malaysia to work at Unilever as Brand Manager.

Now as one of the partners of AICLA Global (“AICLA”), Steve is responsible for the co-management and co-administration of AICLA with an added focus on the firm’s overall sales, business development and marketing functions. He is especially responsible for the ASEAN region.
